Why Geisel?

Geisel is a family name. It is the last name of my endlessly inspiring Oma, who immigrated from Germany at 12, was an Army nurse in WWII, and taught me to be tough and seek adventure. It was also the last name of her brilliant cousin, the beloved author and illustrator, Dr. Suess. You made have heard of him.

I won’t make claims that I’m as bold or brilliant as either of them, but I work very hard to be as brave and creative, and to infuse everything I do with the levity and integrity I believe I inherited from the Geisel clan. I am always fun and compulsively quick at responding to inquiries. I can’t help myself.
